Yes! We will have transportation picking up wedding guests in front of The Tess at 4:00pm and 4:30pm. Guests staying at both the Kimpton Sylvan and The Tess can use this shuttle, as the hotels are right across the street from one another. Please arrive early for your designated pickup, as the shuttles will depart on time.

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony start time of 5pm, so you can park, find your seat, and settle in comfortably. The ceremony is a short walk from the parking deck or Uber drop off point, so plan for time to walk over. We will begin promptly at 5pm!

The wedding at the Atlanta History Center offers a blend of elegance and nature - think formal garden party meets Southern charm. Formal attire is perfect: A whimsical and refined gown featuring soft, pastel hues or a delicate floral print, and gentlemen in suits. Ladies, please avoid heavy colors or black.

We love your little ones! That said, this is an adult‑focused celebration, and we kindly ask that only adults attend if it is not specified on your invite. Thank you for understanding.

The plan is for the ceremony and cocktail hour to take place outdoors, on the Column Side of the house and in the Boxwood Garden. The reception will take place indoors in the Grand Overlook Ballroom.

Our venue is the Atlanta History Center at 130 West Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30305.

Yes! There is complimentary on-site parking, including clearly marked multi-level lots for easy access. The venue and surrounding areas are easily accessible by rideshare options. We plan to have transportation for our guests staying in the Kimpton and Tess hotels to and from the wedding.

We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture the day, and we ask that our guests turn off their phones/cameras and stay present with us during our ceremony.
